We are requesting L. 200.00 for December activities. This will cover the following: the Christmas craft to take home, Santa’s contract for one day at school, and Santa’s picture with frame. This money should be sent to school by Wednesday, December 6th.
In Prekindergarten
we teach our students about sharing and helping. “Angelitos Del Dia” is a
perfect way to help show our kids just how easy this can be and how we can make
a difference in our community.
"Angelitos del Dia" helps out newborn babies born at Materno Infantil here in Tegucigalpa. They provide moms with newborn essentials (blankets, pajamas, socks, hats, wash cloths, towels, diapers, baby wipes, baby soap and baby shampoo).

Your child took
home a bag that you can use to put your donations in.
A great way to
get your child involved is to go through their baby clothes and have them
choose items they would like to donate. Xtra and Emporio are also great places
to shop for baby items. Please feel free to donate as many items as you wish.
Please send the bags back in by Wednesday, December
6th.
Thank you!!

Also, if you have any books that are related to the winter holiday's (Hanukkah, Kwanzaa & Christmas) we would love to read them in class. Please send them with your child, we will be displaying them in our book corner.
Nuestros
Pequeños Hermanos (NPH) is an international organization that takes in
abandoned and orphaned children, providing a home and education. Here in Honduras,
the NPH organization provides for over 500 children in at large ranch near La
Venta and home in Tegucigalpa for severely handicapped children. While many
children at the ranch have aunts, uncles, or grandparents that come to visit
them and can provide some Christmas gifts, some children at a ranch have no
family to visit. It is these children, whom we would like to provide for this
Christmas. In the secondary building, second floor, a NPH Giving Tree bulletin
board will be set up. If you wish to participate, choose a paper tree that has
a child’s information about his/her size for shoes and socks.
Purchase the
new items and return them to Mrs. Agurcia’s Room (Secondary Building, Rm. 7) by
Tuesday, December 5th, unwrapped, with the tree tag taped to it. Thank you for
giving this Christmas!
