- Every Tuesday Homework is send home. Homework should be back to school on Thursday. Please don’t forget to send the folder and notebook back
-Please make sure your child is ONLY bringing toys of topics required by the teacher.
This week we will continue learning about our abc. We will be working on recognizing the letters with their sound, letter formation, vocabulary of the letter, remember always emphasizing on the short vowel sounds. This week we will be studying about the letter Yy. The vocabulary words for this letter are: yogurt, yell, yellow, yak, yard, yes, yawn, yo-yo, yolk, year.

Child assigned should take at least five (5) items that they have at home that begin with this letter. Items should be at school on Monday and we will send them back on Friday. For this week we have Exauce Ndinga .

In math, will continue working with numbers. We will continue working with numbers 0-15 on how to represent and identify using tally marks, ten frames, number formation, and name of the number, one-to-one correspondence, and sequencing.

In Science we will begin learning the unit about Zoo Animals. We are going to learning and discussing about some different types of zoo and Wild Animals. Some of the vocabulary words we will be focusing are: lion, gorilla, macaw, monkey, zebra, ostrich, hippo, giraffe, elephant, alligator, snake, peacock. If you have any books or posters, ideas or any other material that you would like to share with us it would be greatly appreciated.

This week we will be studying about the letter Xx. The vocabulary words for this letter are: xylophone, ax, ox, six, box, fox, mix, x-ray, taxi, wax

Child assigned should take at least five (5) items that they have at home that begin with this letter. Items should be at school on Monday and we will send them back on Friday. For this week we have Sebastian Mendoza 

***Note: On Friday, the assigned students, will have to share eatable things for 20 friends such as letter x cookies, etc. for children to taste. We do this to close our letter unit.

We have talked to the students that we have started the hot season in Honduras. PLEASE PROVIDE YOUR CHILD WITH A WATER BOTTLE EVERY DAY. Have them wear light clothes; they can bring a hat to protect from the sun, put sunscreen on their face and arms.

April-8-12

This week we will continue learning about our abc. This week we will be studying about the letter Ww. The vocabulary words for this letter are: walrus, whale, watermelon, wheel, water, window, wig, walk, wand, web, watch

Child assigned should take at least five (5) items that they have at home that begin with this letter. Items should be at school on Monday and we will send them back on Friday. For this week we have Sebastian Mendoza 

***Note: On Friday, the assigned students, will have to share eatable things for 20 friends such as watermelon, waffles, walnuts, white chocolate, wafer cookies, etc. for children to taste. We do this to close our letter unit.

Our Easter party will be on Thursday , April 11 th . We are requesting for each child to bring 12 eggs. Also for this celebration each child should bring their own basket.




To wrap-up letter W, on Friday April 12 th  we will be playing WATER GAMES! Please send water balloons, water guns, or any other game toy we could use. Please send a towel and extra clothes. MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS LABELED WITH YOUR CHILD’S NAME!!

The Boy Who Creid Wolf, Sam should be looking after his sheep, but instead he can't help but play cruel tricks on the villagers by crying wolf. Will Sam soon be caught out by his own joke?
